On September 29 and 30, 2026, our CTO, Dr.-Ing. Carsten Pohlmann, will attend the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials IFAM in Bremen. This year’s meeting will address the institute’s strategic development as well as current research and technology topics, including new developments in additive manufacturing and energy research.
As a member of the Board of Trustees, Dr.-Ing. Carsten Pohlmann contributes his perspective from industry, technology development and the hydrogen sector to the discussions with the institute’s management and fellow board members. The discussions will cover technological developments, future areas of research and their significance for the strategic direction of Fraunhofer IFAM.
