On August 24, 2024, our CTO, Dr.-Ing. Carsten Pohlmann, had the opportunity to exchange ideas with Saxony’s Minister President Michael Kretschmer at the Chemnitz Industrial Museum. The future of Saxony as an industrial location was the focus of a top-level discussion organized by Industrieverein Sachsen 1828 e.V., AMZ – Netzwerk Automobilzulieferer Sachsen, the hydrogen technology cluster HZwo e.V. and VEMASinnovativ.
Minister President Kretschmer shared his vision for the further expansion of Saxony as a leading industrial location and emphasized the importance of a stable and reliable government as a partner to the economy. The discussion focused on topics such as structural change in the automotive industry, the shortage of skilled workers, the relevance of innovation and the growing importance of hydrogen, particularly for Chemnitz, in regional value creation.
